The Fold, Co.Antrim in Northern Ireland is a place where retreats; therapeutic process; personal growth and creative expression, has been offered since 1997 in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

This labyrinth was created by Eolath Magee and Maranú Gascoigne over a 9 month period, all the stone is from the land around it. It felt like it had always been there in the land and we were simply the restorers of this wonderful archetypal symbol that naturally draws us to our own deepest centre and place of grounding within. The labyrinth can be a profoundly moving experience. Its twists and turns give us a walking meditation and a metaphor for our lives. When we walk into this nonlinear path we experience another way of seeing things, we gain a new perspective on our life’s journey.

Maranú who is a psychotherapist and retreat facilitator offers individual, couple and small group residential retreats. Each retreat is tailored to your specific needs and may incorporate many forms of creative expression, silence, journal-writing, personal process work, guided visualisation and extensive use of the labyrinth.
